What services do you offer?

I automatically cover all areas in London TfL Zones 1-3. I am also happy to work nationally and internationally, but ask that you get in touch first for jobs outside of this area so I can give availability and provide a quote that covers travel costs/time to/from such destinations.

What is your availability?

How far in advance should I book?
I can take bookings up to 365 days in advance - certainly recommended for major events & wedding photography. I usually recommend booking for all other purposes within 90 days of the desired shoot date, but allow bookings right up to 24 hours before, when available.

How long does a typical session last?
Can I bring props or request specific shots?
Absolutely! Why not add a personal touch to your photos? Bring a prop or two! Whether it’s something as simple as a bouquet of flowers, your favorite book to read together, or even your beloved pet, props can help tell the story of your relationship and make the photos even more meaningful.
Pro tip: You don’t have to overthink props. It could be something as small as holding a cup of coffee together or having a picnic in the park. It’s about what feels true to you as a couple.

Pricing and Payment
What are your rates?
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Deposit or payment in full is required to secure your booking. Please see the individual services to see how much this will be. Please also see my cancellation and rescheduling policy below.What payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments via bank transfer (except international), cash and most major debit/credit cards.
Are there any additional fees?

How long will it take to receive my photos?
Turnaround time is heavily dependent on the job. For solo, couple and family shoots of up to 1.5 hours, delivery time is typically 3-4 days after the shoot. For bigger photoshoots such as event or wedding photography, turnaround time is more typically within 4 weeks. Photo delivery expectations will always be set out before the shoot.
How will I receive my photos?
Photos will be delivered digitally in a secure, password protected online gallery. Prints are also available, but must be requested and discussed to get an individual quote tailored to your needs.Do you provide editing and retouching?
Yes. Editing and light retouching is offered with all shoots. As a photographer, I believe in the authenticity of what I capture. I aim to tell true stories without heavy alterations or retouching that would alter the subject’s natural beauty. While I may make slight edits to enhance lighting or color, my intention is to present a truthful, natural representation of you as you are. My approach is rooted in celebrating authenticity, and I work to make sure you feel seen in the best, most honest light possible.Can I request additional edits?
Yes! Please contact me if you would like to purchase additional edits with your requirements so I can offer you a good value and tailored price.Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! Prints are certainly available, but must be requested and discussed to get an individual quote tailored to your needs.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event of cancellation by Client more than 7 days before the Shoot Date, the Deposit will be refunded. In the event of cancellation by Client less than 7 days before the Shoot Date, the Deposit will be forfeited. Photographer may cancel the Shoot due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, weather). In such a case, Photographer will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule the Shoot for a mutually agreeable date. If rescheduling is not possible, Photographer will refund the Fee in full.
Do you have a rescheduling policy?

Photographer may cancel the Shoot due to unforeseen circumstances (ie. bad weather). In such a case, Photographer will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule the Shoot for a mutually agreeable date. If rescheduling is not possible, Photographer will refund the Fee in full.
What is your policy on copyright and usage rights?
All images, photographs, and content displayed on this website, jamiemelville.com, are the exclusive property of Jamie Melville Photography and are protected by international copyright laws. Unauthorised use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without written permission from Jamie Melville Photography is strictly prohibited.
Fair use of copyrighted material is allowed under specific conditions, including but not limited to:
